This is a distinctive superior roof profile with a firm interlocking design under the company's flagship of brands which has attained high confidence amongst roofers and builders alike in the construction market. It features the introduction of a unique conceal fix using 2 hidden clips designed to fit under the profile with ease, giving maximum hold down, without as much as revealing a single nail or screw head on the roof's surface. Without the usual unsightly fixings of fasterners, the roof profile looks neat and clean on the surface every time after installation.
The conceal clips consist of 2 distinct pieces primarily refer to as the "Centre Clip" and the "side lap clip". The "side lap clips" although fixed in obscurity has a clenching grip over the male rib ensuring a perfect hold down on the sheet edge. |
The next sheet laid with its female rib laid over the male rib allows the sheet to interlock. When finally sheets are laid, the lap joints are compressed with a folding tool, sealing all sides of the overlapping sheets. The folding tool is actually a combined process of fold and sealing.
To complete the YODO Clip profile, it requires the "central clips" to be installed below the centre ribs. With CLips installed below the sheets, a sufficient nudge is required to push the ribs over the "central clips" until it slides into position.
